Her claims, while reflective of legacy media talking points, are riddled with inaccuracies. To be respectful, I will keep her identity anonymous. Below is a quote of her comments followed by a breakdown of each of her arguments, along with factual rebuttals that underscore the truth.
1. The “Convicted Felon” Misconception: Trump and the Bogus Charges
The liberal commenter claims, “Trump is a convicted felon.” However, this assertion is misleading. While a jury did vote against Trump in a criminal case, labeling him a convicted felon is factually incorrect. As of now, Trump has not been sentenced in any criminal case, and thus, no criminal conviction exists. Moreover, all 34 charges brought against him are legally dubious at best. These charges are based on convoluted legal theories that lack solid grounding in precedent and are unlikely to survive in higher courts, especially when considering presidential immunity. The notion that these charges represent anything more than a political hit job is absurd.
This isn’t just a defense of Trump—it’s a defense of the legal standards that should apply equally to all citizens. Claims of felony convictions in this case are merely wishful thinking for those who cannot accept that the charges lack substance.

The United States achieved energy independence under Trump in 2019, for the first time since 1957, largely due to his pro-energy policies that prioritized domestic oil production and rolled back crippling regulations.

Biden’s administration, on the other hand, has consistently undermined U.S. energy security. While it is true that Biden is exporting more oil than Trump did, this is helping other countries, not the United States. His first acts included halting the Keystone XL pipeline and placing moratoriums on new oil and gas leases. Biden has also dangerously drained the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The subsequent spikes in energy prices and the need to beg OPEC for increased production show the consequences of these disastrous decisions. This has also been horrible for the US economy, with most new jobs being government jobs.
Energy independence isn’t just about producing enough for domestic consumption; it’s about keeping prices stable and ensuring we aren’t reliant on foreign adversaries for our energy needs. Biden’s policies have done the opposite, leaving America vulnerable and less secure.

The commenter claims that Trump “wants to remove regulations from all industries,” suggesting this would make our food supply unsafe. While it’s true that Trump advocates for deregulation, it’s a gross misrepresentation to suggest he wants to abolish all oversight. In his recent speeches, Trump has expressed interest in appointing RFK Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, a move aimed at taking on Big Food corporations that poison our food supply with harmful chemicals. These are the very chemicals that are banned in Europe and other developed countries but remain legal in the United States due to corrupt corporate influence over regulatory bodies. So, when it comes to food safety, Trump is actually focused on cleaning up the system, not dismantling it.

The idea that Trump wants to “do away with any news source that disagrees with him” is another tired leftist trope. The truth is that Trump, along with figures like Elon Musk, champions a free market of ideas and information.
